REAL MADRID
Casillas 6.5 - Didn't have that much to do throughout the match but did make a good save mid-way through the second-half to keep the scores level.
Ramos 6.0 - Got forward well at times but got beaten a lot by Plasil on the wing and even though his name is on the scoresheet, it owed more to the poor goalkeeping of Roberto than anything else.
Pepe 7.0 - Yet again a real rock at the back for Real Madrid, keeping out the threats on the ground and in the air, however very lucky not to concede a penalty when Juanfran was instead booked for diving.
Cannavaro 6.5 - Looked solid at the back and did his job well throughout the match.
Heinze 5.5 - Was penalised far too often for jumping with his arms and it is something that he really has to cut out of his game. Didn't get forward a lot but defended reasonably well on most occasions.
Lassana Diarra 6.5 - Certainly not his finest game since joining Real Madrid but bearing in mind the high standard he has set, he was always going to drop at some point. Nevertheless, it was a solid performance in midfield, only criticism would be that too often he slowed the attacks down rather than going forward.
Gago 6.0 - Did his job in midfield but not really anything else and will feel he could have contributed more to the cause, lucky not to concede a penalty too when he tripped Juanfran.
Robben 7.5 - Won the match again for Real Madrid by creating the second goal and then scoring the third. Maybe tried too hard at times but did well to beat his man for the cross to supply Higuaín and then persistence paid off for his goal in injury time.
Sneijder 5.5 - Not his best game by a long shot and his delivery from set-pieces was poor for the forty-five minutes that he was on the pitch.
Higuaín 6.5 - Had a great chance to give his side the lead in the first minute but couldn't take it as Roberto saved well. Continued to work hard throughout and eventually got the all-important second goal that gave Real Madrid the win.
Raúl 5.5 - Got out-paced and out-muscled on too many occasions and not a game that he will want to remember.

Van Der Vaart 6.5 - Looked sharp after coming on and whilst he didn't do anything spectacular, he added some offensive drive to the midfield.
Huntelaar 5.5 - Didn't contribute anything after coming on except for link-up play and will be disappointed with his performance.
Marcelo 6.0 - Had a great chance to score after coming on late but saw his shot saved, and apart from that did very little.
OSASUNA
Roberto 4.5 - Made a good save to deny Higuaín in the first minute but after that things went downhill rapidly. Awful mistake to let in the shot from Sergio Ramos from distance and then at fault for the third goal too, when he let Robben's shot go straight through him.
Azpilicueta 6.5 - Did not do much wrong at the back and probably told by the coach not to get forward too often, which he didn't.
Josetxo 6.5 - Defended really well at the back and marshalled the Real Madrid forwards in and around the box with good strong play.
Miguel Flaño 5.5 - Did his job at the back but will be disappointed that he gave the forwards too much time on a few occasions.
Monreal 6.0 - Taken off with an injury before half-time but until then he looked lively coming forward and defended well too.
Juanfran 7.0 - Even though he was sent off it is hard to mark him down for either booking, considering he should have had a penalty on both occasions. First-half he was lively in midfield and tested Casillas with an effort he had to palm away, and even though he went missing as an attacking threat after the break, it was a good display.
Puñal 5.5 - Quiet in midfield and even though he broke up some of the attacks well he didn't offer enough going forward for his side.
Nekounam 7.0 - First-half he was a real handful for Real Madrid with his runs and balls, and got the all important goal that gave them the lead. Like a few of his team-mates he wasn't as good in the second-half but he never stopped running.
Plasil 6.5 - Gave Sergio Ramos a few scares down the wing and put in the cross for Nekounam to head home from. Didn't have have as much effect after the break and was taken off with some time left.
Masoud 6.5 - Worked hard to supply the front men with balls and even though he didn't have much luck with his deliveries he played well and gave Heinze a tough evening.
Pandiani 6.5- Might not have scored but he caused the Real Madrid defence trouble and he was a good front men for the balls to come to.

Javier Flaño 5.5 - Not on for long but managed to get himself booked and didn't offer much in terms of attack.
Portillo 6.0 - Couldn't grab a goal against his former side but didn't have that much time.
