Pérez's Real Madrid Presidential Campaign Gaining Ground

Florentino Pérez is lining up another headline making move for the summer with Zinedine Zidane returning to the club to work under Arséne Wenger, AS report.

The construction magnate has not even declared that he will be standing in Los Merengues' presidential elections in June, but the rumour mill is in full swing.

Zidane was one of Pérez's major signings during his tempestuous reign as club president that saw a number of superstar names join the club only for the trophies to dry up.

Now his return is gaining support, especially after reports that he would sign Kaká from AC Milan and bring in Wenger as head coach from Arsenal for the new season.

With Zidane now added into the mix there has been a lot of fans stating that they would like to see Pérez return, despite the fact that his Galáctico policy proved to be unpopular.

Since leaving Real Madrid, Zidane has kept a low profile and only appeared in various charity games but he has reportedly had talks about a return to the Bernabéu.
