Valencia Always Go Out To Win - Unai Emery

Unai Emery has said today that his Valencia side will go to the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán to win, and will not play for a draw, despite being without David Villa.

At the weekend, Valencia were humbled by Real Mallorca without their star striker, but Emery assured they will still be playing to win.

"The team always plays to win, sometimes it works out well, sometimes it doesn't. Thescore isgood for us,but Ido not want us to go and try to draw, anotherway is to be intelligent and totry toattack in a more stable way. Everything that you can add to the scoreline is good, and we will be trying to win," he told AS.

"Iexpect a Sevilla sidethat will come out to win, just like us. I expect a very flowing game, that has all the factors to be a good match, a lot of fight and spirit, thatwill be like a final, becausewhoever loses is out. Therefore we will confront it as a final."

Worryingly though, Valencia will yet again be without Villa, and Emery did admit this is a blow to his side.

"Villa is an important player, but not more so than the team. He is not ready to play to his best, and we needeveryone to be in topcondition, so we go with players who are fit," he declared.

The coach also said that he believes his team will turn things around after their defeat to Mallorca at the weekend, and that he doesn't regret letting Nikola Zigic, Timo Hildebrand or Iván Helguera go.

"Each situation has reasons, and a decision must be madeon the day, that iswhat happened in the cases ofHildebrand and Helguera. In the case of Zigic there was possibility of staying,of keepinghim here, but he has always had Villa and [Fernando] Morientes in front. He is a great boy and a great player and I am glad that he is doing well at Racing," he confirmed

Aside from Villa, Emery will have a nearly fully fit squad to choose from for the match, with Joaquín returning after missing the game at the weekend.

Valencia squad to face Sevilla: César, Guaita, Miguel, Maduro, Marchena, Moretti, Carleto, Joaquín, Albelda, Baraja, Fernandes, Edu, Pablo, Vicente, Mata, Silva, Angulo, Morientes.
