Philipp Lahm is back on Barcelona's agenda after the Catalan club drew up a list of players that they would like in the summer and have already made contact with Bayern Munich, according to a report.
The German international full-back has been linked with a move to Camp Nou in the past and even publicly stated his desire to move to the Catalan outfit.
Instead, Éric Abidal joined Barça and Lahm stayed with Bayern, but now that could all change with Pep Guardiola considering making his side even more attacking.
While Abidal is set to stay at the club, despite rumours linking him with a return to Lyon, the Blaugrana could make an official move to sign Lahm.
Guardiola and technical secretary Txiki Begiristain think that a left-sided equivalent of Dani Alves would make the team even more forward-thinking.
Having scoured the European market, the pair believe that Lahm is by far the best option and a line of communication with Bayern has already been opened.
