Former Milan striker Jose Altafini believes Brazilian ace Kaka is facing the same "pressure and torment" as Cristiano Ronaldo regarding interest from Real Madrid.
The Rossoneri star rejected the chance to join Manchester City in a lucrative deal last week. The move set the Spanish media on a crusade, launching a 'Kaka to Real Madrid campaign' with constant reports suggesting the Brazilian will join them in the summer.
Alatafini, who played over 200 games for Milan between 1958 and 1965, has given his views on the Kaka nightmare, comparing it to Cristiano Ronaldo's Real turmoil.
"This Real Madrid situation will torment Kaka from now until June," Altafini told Sky Sport Italia.
"There is all this talk about him going there if Florentino Perez comes in, but I hope it doesn't happen.
"Kaka is feeling the same pressures as Cristiano Ronaldo because, at this point, Real will have to look at their situation and decided who to go for: Kaka or Roanaldo."
Another Brazilian who has been making recent headlines in Italy is Adriano. The Inter striker is working hard to get back to his best. The Nerazzurri have come under heavy fire for their management of Adriano, but Altafini doesn't believe it's the club's or Jose Mourinho's fault.
"I think the situation got to a bad point," he said. "But, to be honest, the blame should not be piled on Inter or on their coach because they did everything to help him, however, he didn't want to know," added the former striker.
"He is getting back into shape now, and I think he will do well if recovers his form."
