Bruno Fornaroli has found it extremely difficult to settle in Serie A this season. The 21-year-old moved to the Genoa-based club from Nacional Montevideo in the summer, but has made very little impact in Italy.
Last week, his agent revealed that he will be leaving during the winter transfer window and has now narrowed his client's destination down to Spain.
"There are two offers from Spain," the player's agent, Vincenzo D'Ippolito, told Barilecce.com . "Specifically, the offers are from Espanyol and Betis. It's probable that he will end up at one of those places."
Fornaroli has just made five appearances in Serie A this season - none as a starter – and has yet to score a goal in Serie A play. The player did grab a brace in the UEFA Cup, when the Blucerchiati thrashed FC Kaunas 5-0.
The Uruguayan youngster has previously been linked with loan moves to Lecce or Chievo, but those clubs opted for Papa Waigo and Stephen Makinwa respectively.
