Moreno Excited By Barcelona Return

Numancia midfielder, Juan Carlos Moreno, returns to Barcelona this weekend, twelve years after he left the Catalan side to join Recreativo Huelva.

The 33-year-old only played a handful of games in his time with the current La Liga leaders, but he has become a key part of this Numancia team.

Speaking to Marca today he revealed that he is looking forward to his return to Catalonia after so many years, and says he is, 'very excited', about visiting the Camp Nou again.

Moreno, who started the season so well for the newly promoted side, has not started every game lately, but is expected to play this Saturday evening.

In regards to the match he says that he believes Numancia, who are the only side to beat Barcelona in La Liga this season, can pick up a positive result.

"Nothing is written down, and no one knows what will happen. It will be a very good game," he mused.

Despite his positive outlook though, Moreno did admit that this match is not, 'in our league', as that will start when they meet Real Mallorca, after playing all the top teams.
