Malouda To Switch Chelsea For Villarreal - Report

28-year-old wide-man Florent Malouda's career is a tad shaky at the present time.

Not only is his future with Chelsea a murky one, but he's also locked in a war of words with France boss Raymond Domenech.

Truth be told, he's never fully established himself as a Chelsea star and hasn't lived up to the high standards he set in Ligue 1 with Lyon.

Now, The Mirror is linking him with a move to Spanish side Villarreal.

The apparently cash-strapped Blues will surely be interested in listening to the Yellow Submarine, but the fee could be a bone of contention. Chelsea will look for over €14 million, but the Liga outfit are looking for a sub-€10m steal.

Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari would likely use the proceeds to go for one of his targets, such as Wigan Athletic star Antonio Valencia.
