Osasuna were handed a small measure of justice today when Juanfran had his second yellow card from last weekend's match against Real Madrid rescinded.
The midfielder was sent off in the match at the Bernabéu, after getting booked for diving on two occasions.
However, after reviewing the decisions, the Competition Committee has decided to remove the second yellow card, but uphold the first.
It appeared on both occasions that the player was tripped, firstly by Fernando Gago, and then by Pepe, but just the second has been rescinded.
Osasuna were furious with the referee after the match for not giving either penalty, and for booking Juanfran for diving, and whether or not they will be pleased with just one yellow card is not clear.
It does send a message that the official did get it wrong though, as if that wasn't clear enough as the time to all watching the game.
Elswhere, Manuel Fernandes of Valencia has been banned for two matches, after getting sent off and reaching the card limit for a sanction.
