Unai Emery saw his side throw away the lead twice in the thrilling 3-3 draw against Villarreal last night, but he remains proud of his side's efforts.
Speaking after the match, Emery said, "When we were 2-0 up, we knew that one goal would decide the game. Unfortunately, the scored it and got back into the game, whereas if we had made it 3-0, the game would have been sealed."
Emery maintained, however, that the fans should be "proud and satisfied" of their team.
The Valencia coach then said that he did not have any news on Raul Albiol's injury, and would not disclose his team plans for the Copa del Rey match in midweek against Racing Santander.
Finally, Emery begrudgingly agreed with Manuel Pellegrini's assertion that both teams produced a great spectacle and the draw was a fair result.
