Dani Guiza Future Remains Uncertain

Nuria Bermudez, the forward’s agent and girlfriend, informed skysports.com that they planned to discuss any offers with current club Real Mallorca.

“Now, the subject is at an impasse,” Bermudez said.

“I wait to formally receive the offers this week so that I can study them and decide with Real Mallorca. The decision may not be announced this week because it is necessary to finalise the operation.”

Guiza’s club are valuating him at 15million euros, (£11.9million). His two goals as a super-sub in Euro 2008 may have increased his stock somewhat, but it hasn’t deterred any of his suitors.

Manchester City, Sunderland, and Tottenham Hotspur all appear keen from the Premier League, while Barcelona and Roma were also linked with a bid.

Arsenal were reportedly interested at the beginning of June, and may actively pursue the striker seeing as there is still a cloud over Adebayor’s Emirates future. Turkish giants Fenerbache Sports Club, however, look to be at the front of the queue.
