Bara Want Silva - Agent

The Valencia man is one of the most sought-after players in Europe after good performances for Spain during their successful Euro 2008 campaign.

Barcelona have been linked with a keen interest in Silva, while Inter Milan are also in the hunt for the player after missing out on Ricardo Quaresma.

The player's agent, Julio Llorente, has admitted that the Blaugrana have already enquired him about the availability of his client, adding that the clubs interested in the 22-year-old "are not two or three."

Valencia are reluctant to part with one of their biggest assets, having reportedly set a big price tag on the player to fend off interest.

Llorente is confident that Silva will be a "crucial piece" in Valencia's next season project and hopes that his valuation "will be reflected on his contract".

The Valencia midfielder wants a considerable raise that reflects his influential role in the squad and Llorente has already engaged in negotiations with Los Che to have his contract revised.
.
"Everyone wants to improve, but Valencia are also a big club with whom Silva has a contract and he will defend their colours until the club want. He is happy here and has demonstrated why speculating about his future is pointless," Llorente added.
