Having seen his side claim a nervy 1-0 win over ten-man Numancia, Sevilla coach Manolo Jimenez has declared himself pleased with his side's performance.
Speaking at the post-match press conference, Jimenez described the victory as "important for our aspirations in the league".
He continued, "Numancia played well in the first half, and had some chances. In the end our quality won through, although we showed nerves when they attacked despite playing with ten men. The game seemed very long because we played on the back of some very exhausting games."
Jimenezthen found some words of praise for Aquivaldo Mosquera, saying, "It was perhaps his best game for us. He is player that can offer a lot to Sevilla."
Finally,the coachelaborated on the injury sustained by Frederic Kanouté: "It is not too much of a problem, he has damaged the ligaments in his collarbone and we think he will be fit for Wednesday."
