Florentino Pérez Set To Use Kaká As Presidential Tool - Report

With Ramón Calderón seemingly in trouble at the top of the Real Madrid hierarchy, the club's former president, Florentino Pérez could be ready to pounce.

Gazzetta de lo Sport reports that Pérez, who was famously responsible for the 'Galatico Era' at Madrid, is planning on promising Kaká to the fans, should he get elected.

It will not be forgotten of course, that Calderón promised the Brazilian too some years ago, but failed in his attempts to bring him to the Santiago Bernabéu.

Rumours have been around for some time now that Pérez will attempt become re-elected as president but it will be tough for him considering his history.

However, with the 'rigged' Assembly claims surrounding Calderón, it is fair to say that his job does not look safe at the moment.

The main problem for Pérez though could well be Kaká, whomay well be on his way to Manchester City this winter.

Even if he doesn't go, it is not known if he would move to Madrid, or anywhere, bearing in mind the sums of money City are reportedly offering him.

What is for sure, is that if Pérez does decide to use him in his election campaign, then he will not forgot to mention the man who failed to bring him to the Bernabéu before.
