Málaga faced arguably the toughest fixture of the weekend as they travelled to the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán to take on undefeated Sevilla but the island side stunned their hosts to record their fourth successive win in La Liga.
The win came courtesy of a strike from Adrián and speaking today Los Boquerones defender Nacho says he is very happy with the win but recognises there is still a long way to go.
"One must enjoy these moments, we have won four games in a row, but the league is very long and bad times will occur. It is clear though that we are in a sweet moment, yesterday we won in Seville, something we were talking about all week and we did it," he exclaimed.
Through the happiness though the defender also emphasised the need to continue this run and said whilst before 'there was pessimism now there is a good confident feeling and we must take advantage of that.'
Goalscorer Adrián on the other hand is remaining a lot calmer and does not want to get carried away, despite the magnitude of their performance at the weekend.
"We are very happy with the victory against a difficult opponent," he said, "The team played well up until the end and we are focused on going from game to game and taking as many points as we can, but the important thing is to continue playing well."
"We should be calm and go forward with humility. We have to think about Mallorca, as the Copa Del Rey is a good and important competition, before we think about Barcelona," he declared.
