Emery: Nothing Is Easy In This League

Valencia might be top of the league and in superb form but it has not gone unnoticed that Los Che are yet to beat a top side and again this weekend they find themselves pitted against a team lower down the table.

Speaking today though manager Unai Emery has said that nothing is easy and that he hopes his side can maintain their good start.

"Of course nothing is easy," he declared, "It is extremely difficult to win in Valladolid, Málaga or Almería, where we drew. I hope we can continue to be at the top but it will be a difficult game against Recreativo and we will need to play well to win."

If Valencia can manage to win again this weekend it will be the best ever start they have made to a season and whilst this would be some feat Emery is not too concerned by it.

"I only think about what is under my responsibility. It sounds very nice and perhaps I will savour it in the future but for now I have other things to think about."

"I carry a high level of responsibility and that doesn't change because we are first. We must be prepared for every game and to give maximum importance to each point; each game is a test which we have to pass," opined the manager.

Emery confirmed that he does not plan in blocks and stages but rather one game at a time because he likes things to be immediate and football 'demands that decisions should be made straight away.'

The manager also spoke about the upcoming transfer window and remained rather coy, saying that for the moment he only sees himself working with this group in which he has 'full confidence.'
