The British tabloid reported that the young Spaniard had turned down the prospect of a contract extension, raising rumours that he may be looking to leave the London club.
Cesc, in fact, has recently stated that he may one day like to return to FC Barcelona, indicating that perhaps all was not well at the Emirates.
However, the man himself this morning spoke out against such reports, stating that he was in it for the long haul at Arsene Wenger's side.
He told the official Arsenal website, "A newspaper report suggesting that I have rejected a new contract is untrue," he said.
"The article is just mischief-making. Everybody knows I have a long-term contract and that I am happy here. I'm focussed on doing my best for Arsenal."
Cesc's contract at the Gunners runs until at least 2011, although a series of extension clauses could see him tied down in North London until 2014.
