Del Bosque: European Nights Are Unforgiving

Spain might well be the reigning European Champions but against Estonia tomorrow night they will have to be on top of their game according to manager Vicente Del Bosque.

The ex-Real Madrid boss takes his side to Eastern Europe with six points from six already but he says to earn more they will have to be fully focused on the job at hand.

"We should focus on the game with the mentality that these European nights require, they do not forgive," he started, "If you do not do things well, you pay for it."

"They [Estonia] can create chances from set pieces and long balls, they are a well organised team that play well," mused the manager.

Despite the obvious gulf in class between the two sides and the fact that Spain are clear favourites Del Bosque said he would not be resting anyone for this match, even with the Madrid derby in the distance.

"My main problem is to call on 21 players who can play perfectly. They are all derbies, and if not, you have to ask a modest team which is the most important game for them," he said.

Luckily for the coach he does not seem to have too many problems with Sergio Ramos the only real doubt at right back. In his place will come either Alvaro Arbeloa or Andoni Iraola and the boss said both are quality replacements.

"Iraola is not behind Arbeloa. Iraola has more offensive qualities and Arbeloa is more defensive but they complement each other well," he concluded.
