Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano will be out of action for at least a week after damaging his right ankle against Atletico Madrid.
The injury, which forced him out of Sunday's win before half-time, means he will miss their upcoming games with Racing Santander and Barcelona.
The Brazil international is not expected to miss their Copa del Rey final against Atletico Madrid in Barcelona on 19th May.
"The injury is only minor and I expect to be fully fit for the Copa del Rey final," stated the 29-year-old striker.
