Struggling La Liga outfit Malaga have been bought by a member of the Qatari ruling family.
Spanish sports daily AS has claimed Sheikh Abdallah Ben Nasser Al-Thani has spent 25million euros buying the club, who only escaped relegation from the top flight on the last day of the season after a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid.
While an unnamed member of the sheikh's entourage confirmed he had sealed a deal to buy all the shares in the club, the source would not specify a sum at present.
"The total sum paid will be announced at a press conference on June 15 in Spain," the source added.
Under the new ownership, Juan Ramon Muniz's side will be looking to push on from their 17th place in La Liga last term.
