French forward Thierry Henry could be on his way to a Major League Soccer club, according to Barcelona vice president Rafael Yuste.
The 32-year-old France captain, who moved to Camp Nou from Arsenal in 2007, revealed last year he could be tempted to ply his trade in America.
Henry, who has a year remaining on his Barca contract, has been linked with a move to the New York Red Bulls, and Yuste has added fuel to that speculation by hinting the striker will make the move across the pond.
Yuste told Spanish radio station Ona FM that Henry and Barca had to "put the finishing touches (to a deal) so that both are happy".
Barca director general Joan Oliver said on Monday reports that Henry would sign for a United States club "were not completely wrong".
