Barcelona president Joan Laporta insists that Zlatan Ibrahimovic still has a future at the club.
Swedish striker Ibrahimovic moved to the Nou Camp from Inter Milan last summer for €46million, with Samuel Eto'o going the other way.
Barca have now splashed the cash on David Villa from Valencia, sparking rumours that Ibrahimovic's future in Catalonia is all but over.
He netted 16 league goals this season as Barca defended their La Liga title, and Laporta denies that the former Ajax and Juventus man is on his way out.
"Ibra is not for sale. He is a very highly-valued player, and I know the coaches count on him," he said.
"The signing of Villa does not affect the future of Ibra."
Laporta did not comment on any other possible signings, including the mass speculation regarding Cesc Fabregas.
He added: "There are players who learnt their trade here and know the Barca style.
"As such, when they come in it is much easier for them to adapt."
