Real Madrid will be without veteran striker Raul for the remainder of the Liga campaign after damaging ankle ligaments.
Raul came off the bench to score in Real's 2-1 weekend win at Real Zaragoza before eventually being substituted himself.
Real have now confirmed scans on the striker's ankle show the injury will keep him on the sidelines for at least four weeks.
That means he will miss the end of season Liga run-in, including games against Osasuna, Real Mallorca, Athletic Bilbao and Malaga.
Raul's strike on Saturday was his 228th league goal and lifted him above Alfredo di Stefano on Real's list of all-time top scorers, six behind number one Hugo Sanchez with 234.
Meanwhile, Madrid also look set to be without Holland international Rafael van der Vaart for their season run-in.
Van der Vaart limped out of the Zaragoza game early on and his thigh problem will keep him sidelined for at least three weeks.
