When Thierry Henry joined Barcelona back in 2007 he was hailed as one of the best players in Europe but since then he has barely found himself playing in Europe.
The ex-Arsenal star has either been played out of position or not played at all and as he spoke today he said he doesn't plan to leave the club but that he is not sure of what might happen in the future.
"Right now I do not plan to go and I do not expect that to change, although I don't really think about it," he said, "I do not know, there are times in your life when things happen that you did not think would. I didn't think that I would leave Arsenal and look where I am now."
Since joining the Spanish club Henry has only played 32 games and scored twelve times and even he admits that some of the criticism that has been thrown his way has been deserved, because as he says, 'I have not won anything with the team, therefore I understand that people always want more.'
Whilst he has not produced his best yet though Henry does have a valid excuse in that for many of his first few games he was actually injured, as he explains.
"I did not start well because when I arrived I was injured. I spoke with [Frank] Rijkaard and he told me that Ronaldinho was not ready to play and he asked if I was. I didn't want to sit out for three months so I played," he concluded.
