Official: Estoyanoff Agrees Terms With Panionios

It has been a momentous week for the Kyanerythri on the transfer front, with two established international footballers joining Ewald Lienen’s squad after star striker Rafik Djebbour left the club for AEK Athens at the end of the transfer window.

An official statement on the club’s website read: “Panionios announces that it has come to an agreement in principle with footballer Fabian Estoyanoff.

“We hope to be able to be in a position to finalise and announce the player’s signing for our club over the coming days.”

Estoyanoff began his career at Uruguayan club Centro Atlético Fénix, before eventually securing a move to Europe via Spanish side Valencia.

The international spent most of his time away from the Mestalla on-loan, with his last loan move taking him to former employers Club Atlético Peñarol.
