Forlán Returns To Recover In Madrid

Javier Aguirre may be preparing his side for their Champions League match with Marseille this Wednesday but the Mexican coach of Atlético Madrid will no doubt be pleased to see Diego Forlán back in the Spanish capital.

The striker injured himself in Atlético's Champions League opener against PSV Eindhoven and returned to Uruguay as he recovered but he is now back with the team and is believed to be only two or three weeks away from returning to the side.

Without him Atlético have not struggled too much thanks to the more than able Florent Sinama-Pongolle but seeing him work again at the training center will no doubt bring a smile to the face of Aguirre.

Also coming back to full fitness is Johnny Heitinga, who has struggled from a knee injury, and he is almost certain to play against Marseille as Atlético look to make it two wins from two in Europe.
