Messi A Doubt For Getafe Clash

Getafe might have in-fighting to contend with before the clash with Barcelona this Sunday, but their opponents have a worry too, the fitness of Lionel Messi.

The Argentine, who has been sublime the last few games for Barça, finished training today with a niggle in his right leg and he is now a serious doubt for the match at the Camp Nou.

After evaluation of the injury any muscular problem has been ruled out but he will still have to wait and see how it evolves before any decision is made.

Messi has started nine matches for Barcelona in La Liga this season, scoring seven goals and grabbing six assists in the process.

Barça will definitely be without Andrés Iniesta who is a long-term injury and is unlikely to return before Christmas.
