Assuncao And Leo Franco Return To Atlético XI

It might not be 'must-win' time for Atlético Madrid yet but it's getting close, and this weekend they are widely expected to pick up all three points against Racing Santander.

The UEFA Cup side have been in decent form as of late following a rocky start to the season and Javier Aguirre is putting out his strongest side for their visit to Madrid.

The Mexican is making two changes from the team that beat PSV in the week, with Leo Franco coming in to replace Gregory Coupet in goal and Paulo Assuncao replacing Raúl García in midfield.

Luis Perea is fit but after recovering from injury the coach does not want to risk him so Giourkas Seitaridis will again play at right-back. The full team from the goalkeeper will be; Leo Franco, Seitiaridis, Ujfalusi, Heitinga, Pernía, Maxi Rodríguez, Maniche, Assuncao, Simao, Forlán and Agüero.

Antonio López is still suffering from vertigo although he has been training and is expected to return soon for Atlético.
