Lopera Is The Man To Make Betis Big - Joaquín

Joaquín might have left Real Betis but it is clear from his interviews and quotes that no-one could ever take the Verdiblanco out of the now Valencia player.

The winger will face up against his former side this weekend and speaking to Marca he has nothing but praise for the Andalucian club.

"The ones who have been there are a while are playing really well and the ones that have come in are very good players," he declared.

"When I speak with Juanito, Arzu or Melli they all speak very highly of [Achille] Emaná. They say he is a player with a lot of quality and a lot of power.

"If they continue like they are they have to be up there, they have all the qualities to do so."

With rumours circulating that current owner of the club, Manuel Ruiz de Lopera, could sell the club soon, Joaquín told Marca that without him Betis would be worse off.

"Lopera is the one who can make Betis big," he mused.

"I do not believe he will sell because without him Betis are less of a club."
