Guti And Ramos Reach Real Madrid Landmarks

Whatever anyone says about Guti there is no doubt that the Spanish midfielder has been a loyal footballer throughout his career.

Whilst he has often drawn attention for his looks or his off the field activities, tonight, if he plays against Getafe, he will be taking part in his 500th game for Real Madrid.

He first played for the capital club back in December 1995 against Sevilla and tonight he could become only the tenth player to reach the 500 mark for Los Blancos.

He will no doubt be hoping to mark the occasion with a win, and if possible a goal, but he will not be the only one celebrating a landmark amount of games tonight.

Sergio Ramos

Sergio Ramos, the right-back who has lately become used to filling in at centre-back, will play his 150th game for Real Madrid tonight and will more than likely revert back to his maurading full-back position.

The Spanish international, who joined from Sevilla, first played for Real Madrid in September 2005 against Celtic and has come to be regarded as a top talent at the club.

Ramos has been seen as the replacement to Roberto Carlos in the team and at the same marker of 150 games, he has scored two more goals than the Brazilian did.
