Unai Emery has made some swift changes since taking over as Valencia coach, and one of those has been to stick strictly to a select group of players in the league, and leave others for the cup competitions.
Asier Del Horno and Hedwiges Maduro have suffered because of this, but it appears they could get some minutes on the pitch this Sunday as Los Che face Getafe in Madrid. The duo have been included in the squad to travel and will be hoping to get some time in the league after playing mainly in the UEFA Cup and Copa Del Rey this season.
Del Horno has started just the one game in the league whilst Maduro has had his only appearance in the UEFA Cup.
Elsewhere there is still no place for Timo Hildebrand, although this time he misses out through injury, whilst the rest of the squad is the same as that which has played for most of the campaign to date.
Valencia travel to Getafe not in the greatest of form after drawing with Recreativo Huelva and then losing to Racing Santander in the league whilst conceding a late goal to draw with FC Copenhagen in the UEFA Cup.
Valencia squad to face Getafe: Renan, Guaita, Miguel, Albiol, Marchena, Moretti, Del Horno, Albelda, Edu, Baraja, Maduro, Fernandes, Pablo, Joaquín, Vicente, Mata, Angulo, Morientes, Villa.
