Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to return to full training on Friday after undergoing further tests on his troublesome ankle.
Ronaldo has missed Real Madrid's last nine matches and has not been able to play for Portugal in their World Cup play-off against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
However, he has been making steady progress in his recovery and resumed light training earlier this week.
The 24-year-old was examined by Real's medical staff on Tuesday and the Spanish club have now confirmed everything is going according to plan.
Ronaldo will step up his comeback over the next few days but it remains unclear when he might be able to take part in a match.
Real face Racing Santander in the Primera Liga on Saturday before entertaining FC Zurich in the UEFA Champions League four days later.
Barcelona then welcome Real to Camp Nou on 29th November for the first El Clasico of the season.
