Kaka expects cup progress

Kaka is confident that Real Madrid can stage a dramatic comeback in their Copa del Rey clash with Alcorcon.

The Primera Liga giants trail 4-0 from the first leg of their meeting with the third tier minnows.

Real coach Manuel Pellegrini, along with his players, came in for widespread criticism following their lacklustre display during the initial meeting.

Kaka, though, believes the capital club will not make the same mistakes twice and is backing Los Blancos to overhaul the deficit at Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday.

"For pride and for the history of Real Madrid, we have to win this tie," the Brazilian superstar told the club's official website .

"The players and the fans have to stand together. The Bernabeu must be a wave of pressure."

Alcorcon head into the game in realistic mood, with coach Juan Antonio Anquela admitting that his side could be overrun in the return meeting.

"We are optimistic but realistic," he told Marca .

"If Real Madrid perform to their usual standards, our chances of progressing are minimal."
