Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has reiterated Franck Ribery's declaration that there is no deal in place to sell the winger to Real Madrid next summer.
Real chased the Frenchman throughout the summer but Bayern Munich stood firm to keep hold of their prize asset.
Ribery has reluctantly accepted the decision but, following his recent comments regarding his rather uneasy relationship with Bayern coach Louis van Gaal, many believe the 26-year-old's long-term future lies away from the Allianz Arena.
However both the player and now chairman Rummenigge have categorically denied that a deal is already in place that would see Ribery leave for the Bernabeu next summer.
"We do not have an agreement with Real to sell Franck next season. That is a fact," he told Abendzeitung .
Kept our word"This is talk which has come from Spain and France, but we will deny it because it's false.
"Nobody believed us back in June when we said Franck wasn't leaving, but we kept our word.
"He will not leave next year either."
Rummenigge also dismissed the notion that Arjen Robben's arrival from Real would now pave the way for Ribery to leave the club.
"The first time I called Real Madrid (about Robben) the people there asked me whether there was any chance of getting Ribery now and I said this is not an issue."
