Pennant expecting success

Pennant expecting success

Jermaine Pennant believes that Real Zaragoza will come good this season once the team has gelled and they have all their players back from injury.

The former Liverpool winger is confident that Los Manos are on the right track despite losing two of their opening three matches of the season.

Having joined Zaragoza in the summer Pennant himself is still settling in and he thinks that all the changes at the club mean that patience is required.

"The team is fine, the league is difficult but we have had some injuries and there are a lot of new players and we must stay together," he was quoted as saying by EFE .

Zaragoza travel to Gijon to take on Sporting in midweek and could face another stern test as the Asturians have picked up four points already this term and are looking strong.

"They will be a difficult team to play and we will have to raise our game;" Pennant added.
