Senna blow

Senna blow

Villarreal midfielder Marcus Senna has been ruled out of action until next month.

The Brazilian-born star has been sidelined after suffering a recurrence of muscle injury which had ruled him out for five-months.

Senna suffered the problem during Spain's 3-0 win over Estonia on Wednesday and now he is set to be out for four weeks.

"This is the worst news which we could get," said Villarreal coach Ernesto Valverde.

"It's a problem because during the next 22 days we are going to have seven matches and we need all out players to be at 100 per cent fitness."
