Valencia are still interested in Feyenoord star Jonathan de Guzman, according to the Dutchman's agent.
The Holland Under 21 international was linked with a move to La Liga in the summer transfer window, but Valencia could not agree a fee with Feyenoord.
De Guzman's current contract expires at the end of the season and he has rejected an offer of a new deal in Rotterdam.
It is therefore understood that Feyenoord will look sell in January, and De Guzman's representative, Jan de Visser, claims Valencia are still tracking the playmaker, who was also a reported target of Chelsea.
De Visser told Voetbal International : "The fact that Valencia are still in touch, and always say they are convinced of Jonathan's qualities, is good for him.
"It provides him with confidence, as Jonathan knows that Valencia will not go away."
