Wigan have again been checking on highly-rated Portuguese winger Eliseu.
The 25-year-old left-sider is currently with Malaga and has been earning rave reviews for the Primera Liga outfit.
The Latics were strongly linked with a move for Eliseu before the transfer window closed, but no deal materialised.
However, they remain interested and are believed to have had scouts posted at Malaga's clash with Valencia at the weekend.
Eliseu joined Malaga in 2007 from Belenenses and has become well known for his lightning pace.
His form has also caught the eye of Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz, who called him into the senior squad for the first time earlier this month.
Now a number of clubs are taking notice of Eliseu, whose current deal has just over 12-months remaining.
Malaga are trying to tie him down to a new four-year deal but as yet nothing has been signed.
CalmThe player himself is remaining calm about his future.
"I am living a dream at the moment and now I am only thinking about Malaga," he said.
"At the end of the season I will talk with the club, but I am calm."
The player's agent Carlos Gonclaves admitted a number of clubs have enquired about Eliseu.
"During the last few months, some clubs have asked me about Eli, but we have no formal offers," he confirmed.
