Valencia winger, Vicente, has declared that the squad are not worried, despite the fact they have not been paid on time.
Los Che are known to be in financial trouble, and it is thought that players are waiting on pay from around a week ago.
However, Vicente, who has been at the club for nearly a decade now, claimed that they are not worried by this turn of events.
"The situation is difficult, but everyone is very calm," he told AS .
"A moment has come when the only thing we can do is train. The club has set a date [for our pay to come through] and we cannot go crazy and unbalance everything. What we have to do is to train and play."
Vicente assured that the players did not think this situation would arise, however, he contends that the squad is "not worried" because the delay is not yet a week.
The winger also spoke his own personal situation at the moment, and more specifically, rumours linking him with a move to Tottenham Hotspur back in the winter transfer window.
He declared that he ruled the option out, because he feels "more at home" with Valencia and believes he still has "many years of playing" at the club.
Finally, he admitted that he is pleased with his improved form and will continue working so that he can be in the first team.
