Barcelona have suffered a blow with the news that Eric Abidal faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Abidal picked up a leg injury during Barcelona's surprise 2-1 defeat to Espanyol on Saturday.
The left-back was forced off after just 22 minutes of the game at Camp Nou and Abidal faces up to two months on the sidelines.
It means Abidal will miss next week's UEFA Champions League clash with former club Lyon as well as a large chunk of the rest of the season.
