Atlético Madrid Clash Will Not Be Like The League - Lionel Messi

Barcelona might have thrashed Atlético Madrid in the league already but they would not have wanted to draw them in the Copa Del Rey, despite their obvious dominance.

However, with the draw today came the meeting of the two and speaking to Sport.es today, Lionel Messi says that he doesn't think it will be the same as when they met in the league.

"Atlético are difficult opponents and we know that it will not be like the league encounter," he mused.

"The qualifying round is two legs though and we will be at home for the second, that is positive."

The Argentine was the architect behind the win over Sevilla at the weekend, grabbing two late goals to continue Barça's impressive climb up the league table. Speaking today he was not getting carried out though despite the great form of his team.

"Luckily we are doing well, things are going for us and we should continue in this way," he declared.

"The key is to continue working and to keep doing the things well as we are now, slowly and relaxed."
