Juan Arango remains hot property despite starting the season in sedate fashion for struggling Real Mallorca.
The veteran Venezuelan is said to be on the radar of several English Premier League clubs, not to mention one or two in Spain.
However he told the press yesterday that he's yet to hear of any firm interest, and as such his transfer remains a simple piece of speculation.
"They're rumours - just rumours," he said.
"There are always offers. There was talk of Liverpool and Tottenham in summer, before the start of the season. Now they tell me about Panathinaikos, or another chance to move to England in winter.
"But there is no concrete offer here - there are simply rumours."
As such the experienced Vinotinto international states that he is happy where he is.
"I am with Mallorca," he affirmed, but he was under no illusions as to the difficulties facing the Barralets.
"One can say (our poor form) is down to bad luck, or bad attitude, but in fact it's a little bit of everything.
"The issue regarding the sale of the club affects us, even though we don't want it to. And when this comes together with poor performance we enter a vicious circle that's hard to leave."
To this end it's hardly surprising that he has at least half an eye on a move elsewhere. Panathinaikos could be the destination due to their Champions League challenge.
"That's one of the best competitions in the world, and if I receive offers, they'll be considered," he concluded.
