Villa Is Very Happy At Valencia - Agent

Just a day after Barcelona reportedly had a €35 million offer for David Villa rejected, the player's agent has come out to quash rumours of any move away from Valencia.

Los Che turned down various offers for the player in the summer, mainly from Real Madrid, and even now with Barcelona on the table they seem desperate to not let him go.

According to José Luis Tamargo, the agent for Villa, it is not just the club who want to keep things as they are, but the player too.

"Today one team comes, tomorrow another...What is clear is that whoever comes, they will be welcome," he jested to Marca.

"However, David Villa has a contract with Valencia until 2014, he is very happy and very content here, and only thinks about winning the league, the UEFA Cup and the Copa Del Rey."

Indeed, Valencia have been a revitalised team this year, following the mediocrity of last season, and despite the fact they trail Barcelona by some way, they will still be happy with the way things are going.

Keeping Villa would obviously be a major step to continuing their success, and Tamargo admitted that the club are unlikely to let him go, whatever the offer.

"For that price [€35 million], Valencia will not sell Villa, in fact, I do not believe that they will sell him," he declared.

"The people of Valencia can be relaxed, knowing that Villa will be with them."
