Valencia have reportedly improved their offer to Milan Jovanovic after rival interest from a number of Premier League sides.
Los Che coach Unai Emery is said to be a big admirer of the Standard Liege ace but is understood to face competition from Birmingham and Everton to sign the forward.
The 28-year-old is thought to have a string of clubs interested in his services with his contract in Belgium running out at the end of the season.
Valencia have now reportedly offered Jovanovic a four-year deal worth an estimated €1.5million a year in a bid to steal a march on their rivals.
However the player's agent Zoran Stojadinovic insists the final decision will not be influenced by money: "The footballer desires calm to decide his future.
"Now we manage many options and he is still not decided where his destiny lies.
"Milan wants a good sporting project and not to think exclusively about the money in question."
