Aguero dashes exit talk

Aguero dashes exit talk

Sergio Aguero has once again distanced himself from a January transfer away from Atletico Madrid.

The Argentina international is widely regarded as one of Europe's hottest properties, with his reputation having rocketed since moving to Spain in 2006.

He has become an integral part of Atletico's attacking arsenal, alongside Diego Forlan, while he is also a regular at international level under his father-in-law Diego Maradona.

Still only 21-years-old, Aguero is expected to go on to bigger and better things in the future.

Inevitably, his rapid progress has seen him regularly linked with a move away from Vicente Calderon.

Premier League giants Chelsea have been mentioned as a possible destination on numerous occasions, with the Blues reported to be weighing up a big-money approach for the South American starlet.

Happy

However, Aguero insists he has no desire to leave his current home and insists that, until told otherwise, he will continue to give his all for Atletico.

"What is clear is that I am happy here and my future lies with Atletico," he said.

"It's always good when a team is interested in you but the truth is I know nothing and if anything happens I'll refer it to the club for it to decide what to do.

"Right now I'm not thinking of anything - my future is with Atletico."

Aguero still has two years left to run on his current contract in the Spanish capital and is said to have a 60million euros (Ј54m) buy-out clause included in that deal.
