Getafe president Angel Torres Sanchez has revealed the club are looking to move on Adrian Gonzalez.
The 21-year-old midfielder joined the Primera Liga outfit from cross-city rivals Real Madrid in May 2008, having graduated through the academy ranks at Santiago Bernabeu.
He has, however, struggled to hold down first-team football at Coliseum Alfonso Perez and looks set to be offloaded in the New Year - possibly on loan.
A switch to Villarreal had been touted, but Perez has moved to rule out such a deal.
He is instead looking to reach an agreement with a foreign club, with France seemingly Adrian's most likely destination.
"He may end up with a French team," Torres told Radio Marca .
"There is no chance of him joining a Spanish first division side, so he could head overseas."
