Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo will miss the UEFA Champions League game against AC Milan next Tuesday.
The Portugal international will miss the clash with the Rossoneri after a scan revealed his ankle injury will not recover in time for the trip to the San Siro.
The 24-year-old suffered the injury during a European game against Marseille in September and aggravated it playing for Portugal against Hungary in a World Cup qualifier.
Ronaldo, who signed at the Bernabeu for a world record fee of Ј80million from Manchester United during the summer, will also be absent for the Primera Division clash with Getafe at the weekend.
Madrid have been on a poor run of form of late, having won just once in five matches, and suffered an embarrassing 4-0 reverse at the hands of second division outfit Alcorcon in the Copa del Rey on Tuesday.
