Julio Baptista's agent insists his client has no intention of leaving Roma for a return to Spain.
The powerful forward was strongly linked with the Stadio Olimpico exit door over the summer.
Former club Sevilla, where Baptista played the best football of his career, were thought to be monitoring the Brazilian's situation closely.
But Baptista's agent Herminio Menendez told Corriere dello Sport : "I can rule out those reports.
"Julio is very happy at Roma and he is only thinking about Roma and next year's World Cup.
"We have had no contact with Sevilla or any other clubs."
Baptista scored nine goals in 27 league appearances with the Giallorossi last season after joining the capital club from Real Madrid.
Injuries have limited the 28-year-old to just two league appearances this term, but Menendez is convinced Baptista will soon return to action.
"The recovery is going well and I believe Julio will soon return to play as his muscular injury is not serious," he said.
"He has a great relationship with (Roma coach Claudio) Ranieri."
Baptista is under contract with Roma until June 2012.
