Figo Returns To Madrid

The Internazionale midfielder has been laid up due to injury since 17 April, when he suffered a muscle breakage in his right leg in a match against Lazio.

He's now out of action until next season, but in an attempt to get back to training as soon as possible he has sought medical treatment at the hands of two medical staff that he knows from his time at Real Madrid.

Physio Pedro Chueca and doctor Alfonso del Corral, who have dealt with the player before, met the player on Thursday to discuss treatment, and he is expected to undergo more therapy on Friday and Saturday before later returning to Milan.

In any case, Figo is quite often in the Spanish capital due to the fact that he still owns property there from his time with the Blancos.

Figo, a 35-year-old winger, spent five years at the Bernabéu between 2000 and 2005 before joining the nerazzurri on a free transfer.
