Real Zaragoza have reached an agreement which will see Humberto Suazo join the club on loan.
The Primera Liga outfit have struck a deal which will see the striker move to Spain from Mexican side Monterrey until the end of the season.
Zaragoza will then have the option to make the move permanent over the summer should they wish to do so.
The 28-year-old frontman boasts a prolific scoring record at international level, notching 10 times in Chile's successful 2010 World Cup qualification campaign.
He has spent his entire career to date in his homeland and in Mexico, where he has been since 2007, but will be hoping to catch the eye during his first foray into European competition.
Meanwhile, Zaragoza have also sealed the signing of Eliseu from Lazio.
The Portuguese midfielder will spend the rest of the season on loan with the Spanish club with the option of sealing a permanent switch.
